This truck was a 2 year project in which is was stripped down to the bare frame and everything was re-done and re-furbished. I invested over $14,000 in this project and used only the best parts , and spent as much time as necessary to make sure all the work was done correctly. Nearly all the parts were purchased from Suicidedoors.com , all the framework, welding , sheetmetal work, bodywork,and interior for the exception of the dash ,console, and B-pillars were done by myself. The paint was done by a good friend who works professionally as a bodyman/painter, and all the added wiring for all of the add-ons were ran hidden from view, all connections were heatshrank, and only high quality wire and distribution blocks utilized.
The paint is Kustom Shop Hot Rod Flatz Midnight Blue. I bought my first gallon of this paint prior to them switching from thier enamel based paint to the urethane base paint they currently use, however I have an unopened gallon of the enamel on hand just in case something would need re-painted. It has a really nice satin look, and ive recieved tons of compliments on it, from ppl young and old.
The last oil change I used all Amsoil products and switched to synthetic oil.
The charging system was upgraded with 0 guage wire running from the yellow top optima battery to a 200 Amp alternator and the compressors are fed with 8 guage wire from a distribution block that is accessible behind the passenger side notch. The AZ compressors have custom cooling fans that i designed the brackets for, and each compressor has its own relay to keep things operating efficiently. (The fans have held up well and still do their job, even after being subjected to wet roads and normal washing) The compressors have pumped strong since I got them, and with the limited amount of driving this truck recieves, they should continue to run like new.
The doors are shaved using Autoloc selenoids and poppers , and all the wiring for the brain and switchbox are easily accessible hidden underneath the console. To gain access all that is required is to remove the storage bucket underneath the armrest. The seats are out of a Cobalt SS , and are custom fitted to S10 tracks so that they still use the existing bolt pattern and still slide just like they came from the factory, the drivers side even has the lumbar feature. New carpet was installed, tweed covers a shaved dash and door panels, headliner and visors and all pillars, and a custom fiberglassed console sits snuggly in between the seats. This truck still smells like new! Billet accents have been used in all the nooks and crannys and the only thing that really remains untouched is the stock steering wheel.
The bed is all sheetmetaled and sprayed with Raptor Liner, the gas filler frenched into the drivers side wheeltub. Remote terminals were added on the passenger side early this summer to make charging the battery located under the bed a breeze. The 2600 Contitechs are fed by 10 gallons of air, (two 5 gallon tanks) 1/2 inch plastic airlines, and SMC valves, all hidden from view. The fuel lines leading from the tank to the hardlines by the transmission are all stainless braided lines , and all of the brakelines were replaced as well. Stainless braided brake lines feed slotted and drilled rotors in the front and the stock drums in the rear and powdercoated calipers were added to finish it off.
The front windsheild is new, the weatherstripping on both doors replaced, and a 97 blazer composite grill and headlights were swapped out for the stock hardware, as was the stock bumper for a 98 chrome bumper and new valence. The wiring harness' and bulbs were ugraded also. The truck maintains its defrost from a sheetmetal blower box which provides great heat for those chilly/foggy mornings.
The frame lays flat as all the necessary parts were relocated to make this happen and the frame was painted w/ POR-15 after being completely stripped. I have drag block brackets already attatched w/ unused blocks i will toss in as well.
I could probably continue , but even if you have made it this far your attention span is probably wearing thin. lol. The bed has one noticeable imperfection in the bodywork due to vibrations caused by the compressors, however if not pointed out it is hard too notice. The drivers side also has a chip on the corner , and a few small scratches again, hard to notice if not directly pointed out. All in all this truck is in great condition and I am proud to say i have never received a negative comment from anyone checking it out. It runs great, works great, lays hard and is alot of fun, so please take some time and ask any questions you may have.

Also.. i have drove maybe 2000 miles since completing this project.. so all the parts are pretty much still brand new. It was built with the intentions of just being a sunday cruiser, however it was built well enough to be a reliable daily driver.
