1953 Chevy pickup rat rod custom. Was an original 6cyl with a 3 on the column. She is now a neck crankin daily driven v8 with a pantina body to dream for. Let me say it is all original 53 bodypanels.yes it has rust,yes it has dents,yes its cool. Has wood bed, partially frosted front windows,cracked back window. Has vents,but no sides(looking for originals,may have them soon).original hood ornament,replacement lights,bezel and chrome shades.truck is wired 12 volt. Lights,horn.etc work.reupholsted original seat. Has a V8 350 4 bolt main,with edgelbrock carb and air cleaner.chrome valve covers. True duels with a flowmaster on each side with exits under running boards.backed up to a Turbo 350 auto 3 speed.utilizes the original column shift. Rear is a 12 bolt with a 3.09 non posi. Truck has an electric radiater fan,pusher type.electric water pump,GM HEI ignition with module under dash. Riding on white walls.front is lowered by flipping the spring in its shackles with new lowering shocks. Rear has a small notch(stock frame) trailing arms with air cylinders. Truck brakes are re done all around.drum shoes,lines.needs parking brake cable to be connected.suicide tank still behind seat,but has a tank in the bed.radiator overflow is ran into a old school teapot.is she is whistling your running hot. Vintage oil cans filling rusted cab corners.stock gauges do not work.I'm missin stuff,but she is daily driven,tagged and insured. Looking for cash for my next project,but will consider trades.
