The bottom end has 108,XXX miles on it and everything from the cam up including the timing chain has around 20,000 on it. This car has been meticulously maintained and garage kept under a cover. I have owned this car since 2001 and I have performed every maintence duty there is to do. The transmission shifts perfectly and the car drives tight just like a vette should. The tires are in great shape with many many miles remaining. The front tires are a 275 series goodyear eagle F1 and the rears are a 315 series sumitomo. This car has all the factory installed options except ZR-1 and factory bose cd player. I have replaced the bose radio with a kenwood cd player and the bose speakers have also been replaced. It has the sought after ZF6 6 speed transmission that has an aftermarket hurst shifter. It also has the leather sport seats which has the adjustable side bolsters and movement in all directions. The color of the car is called steel blue metallic and the interior is a medium blue. There were not many steel blues produced and it gets alot of attention everywhere it goes. There are a few flaws in the paint but nothing major, it has excellent gloss. The main flaw is a hairline crack in the paint just below the drivers side headlight bucket, it's hardly noticable not even an inch long. Despite the modifications on this car the gas mileage does not suffer. I recently drove it on a 6 hr trip and averaged 27 mpg.....driving the speed limit for some of the way.
Mods include:
-Stock AL 113 D port heads that have been ported, polished, bowl blended, and re-valved with 1.96 and 1.60 valves. The valves have a multi angle valve job as well. The heads compliment the camshaft perfectly. The exhaust valve diameter was increased over stock to achieve a better intake to exhaust ratio.....a beneficial factor when using a single pattern camshaft.
-The camshaft comes from lingenfelter and is known as the "219" cam. With 1.6 rockers it measures .560 .560 219 219 on a 112. It is a hyd. roller cam
-The rocker arms are from crower and they are full roller in a 1.6 ratio.
-BBK 58 mm throttle body.
-The coated longtube headers are from tpis and have a 3" collector
-Cold air induction using a modified air box and K&N filter
-The clutch and flywheel come from spec. The clutch is a stage 2. Trades Accepted: enclosed trailer ( 24' to 30' only) jetski of equal value |
