| 1962 Ragtop....I got the car with the intentions of completing the resto but between college and work I don't get much time to work on it.. The previous owner did most of the resto work and almost everything is new. It has a new wiring harness, new pans, all new brakes, etc. The interior has all new carpet, new headliner done by Ann Mezger of Vintage Performance, Scat Procar seats (velour-2 tone), matching rear cover, VDO guages, Scat dragfast shifter, and some other goodies. The body is Extremely solid and rust free. It was repainted with base/clear..it's metallic teal, and has scallops on the hood and front sides. They are done in an ink blue pearl and are outlined in burgandy metallic. It has a few nicks/dings from sitting in the garage. The car has polished 5 spoke Empi's and new tires. The engine was built by Jim Burns of West Chester, PA..it's a mild 1641dp, Weber cam, straight cut gears, Weber Progressive carb, etc. It runs great. Tins are painted to match car. It has RARE Ansa exhaust on it (old school)..sounds nice. The trans is a Rancho pro-street..new clutch, t.o bearing, Kennedy 1700lb p.p. It drives very well. It has an adjustable beam, and is lowered in both the front and rear. I just recently installed Euroblade bumpers on it. It has 79 miles on it since the resto...75 of the miles are from it being towed to me. It needs finishing. It needs door glass-I have the regulators, and vent wings. High beam dimmer switch needs to be installed (I purchased a new one for it but never put it in), and a couple little things. I have many extras to go along with it. I'm looking for a possible trade for something nice..NO JUNK and preferably old but I'll consider anything..MUSTANGS, VW's anything cool. |
