Up for sale is my garage kept 2003 Volkswagen GTI 20th Anniv. 118,000 miles. This is #423 out of 1,000 made in this Jazz Blue color. Many have been wrecked or parted out. This one is neither and has a clean title. There are 4 mods I've done: genuine VW black rear badge from Germany, ECS Tuning dogbone mount, APR R1 diverter valve and ECS Tuning smoked sidemarkers. That's it. Everything else is stock. Monsoon premium sound system, radio, CD player, full black cloth Recaro interior, tilt/sliding sunroof, 1.8L turbo engine with 6-speed manual transmission, 18" OZ Aristo wheels (stock) with Nitto NT555 tires from June 2015, 4 wheel ECS Geomet slotted disc brakes with Hawkes ceramic pads. Car is in very good shape and is a head turner. It's not loud or obnoxious, it just looks good. It's light and quick. I constantly get 27.5MPG from this car. I always use 93 octane when I fill up and use Pentosin synthetic oil that's approved by VW. I take care of my cars but it is 13 years old, there will be blemishes. Most surprising of all (VW guys understand), there is not a single CEL turned on. Everything is in great working order and has been maintained. Late 2014 I had the water pump and timing belt replaced at Don Jacobs in Lexington. I have those receipts and more for you. I'm pretty firm on price. I love this car and it will hurt when it sells. Spark plugs, coil packs, front lower control arms, transmission fluid, fuel filter, cabin filter, K&N drop-in air filter. Fresh alignment from summer 2015. Have receipts for it all. If you want the most solid and reliable MK4 VW ever seen, this is it. |
