This combo (front/rear) gave the 4runner 8.5" of added height and Lots of flexibility. The Front axle was moved forward around 4" extending the wheelbase Body: The back of the 4runner was chopped and welded to make a short bed. I did this Partly for something different and partly so I could haul whatever i wanted without it being in the cab with passengers ie. Air tanks, fuel cans. The rear driver side door and rear bumper has a dent from rubbing a tree. ooops. ;-) Though i built this for trails, I have been driving this vehicle every day now for about 4 months with zero issues.
