| 89 Toyota supra turbo, 5 speed. It has a targa top with targa key. 257k on the body, headgasket and all seals redone with receipt at 170k. Car runs and drives good, clutch is good. Body is straight with a few dings here and there. Overall in very good condition for its age. Car is completely stock except for the air filter, exhaust and wheels (stock wheels will come with car if wanted). Did a compression test (7/8/12) and was very happy...all 6 cylinders were within 2-3 psi of 178...leakdown test all numbers increased to just under 210. Just replaced the turbo (7/11/12) due to original turbo having oil seal problems and burning tons of oil. It now runs very well and is very fast. Also replaced valve cover gaskets and spark plugs (7/11/12). Installed new magnaflow catalytic converter and passed GA emissions (7/12/12). Wheels with brand new tires installed (7/16/12), also had an alignment done. one of the tires needs to be rebalanced, has a slight wobble. The interior is decent... New ebrake boot, shift boot, and armrest cover (factory matching) installed. New pioneer radio installed, rear speakers need to be replaced. needs:
Drivers door handle painted and installed (have the part) the original is functional and on door but is cracked
Drivers door pull needs to be color matched (its blue, the rest of the interior is charcoal)
Has a few cracks in the dash
Tires rebalanced, I cleaned the wheels and apparently lost a weight, it has a light wobble at low speed, cant tell which tire it is. its not bad, but its not smooth as glass anymore. Car has straight pipe from cat back, sounds really good. Keep in mind this is a 5 speed turbo supra. A little TLC on the things mentioned and itll be back to its former glory and worth much more than it already is. The needs list is disappearing daily as i fix/replace things. Price is 5000 or best offer, will consider trades but it must be manual transmission. |
