| "Schizophrenia" is a 20 year project (now finished), 7 stage bed-dancer complete with 4 pump independent suspension, 15 ft. remote control flamethrower and many of other tricks. My creation has an excellent theme that is reflected throughout the build. It has won many "Best of show" trophies, been in dozens of magazines, Speedvision and Spike TV etc. The truck is in great condition and was designed with maximum structural integrity. All relating equipment has been well maintained (pumps, motors, cylinders, etc.) Reinforcements are a premium and everything is backed up by failsafe engineering (these include both mechanical and electrical devices). Detailed in person instruction is part of my offer. There is simply nothing else like it. Ask yourself this: what custom rides do you remember after a show? The ones that are different...especially if they are doing more than just sitting there! Schizo is a major attraction at every show it attends. View detailed videos of my creation via youtube (11 total - these show interior, framework, engine, and bed design). Here is the addy: www.youtube.com/transformerpromo. Also, several pics can be seen on my photobucket page: www.photobucket.com/radicaldesignz. A custom built trailer is included in the deal (dual axle, surge brakes, highly reinforced and specifically designed to haul Schizo). I plan to throw in several extras to maintain things and help get you started. These include items like battery chargers (all types needed), pyro devices/chemicals, hydraulic parts & more. Plus, I've got a host of marketing articles and a business plan to help you make some money back from the venture. In 2007, my creation was appraised by AAIG for $90K (have to show). The appraisal was done to gain show insurance on a specialty vehicle. Today, the truck is for sale at much less than what it took to build. I might even be willing to work with EQUIVALENT trades...let me know what you have. The reason for sale: I have simply reached the point in my life where I'm looking for new projects/investments. Here are a few specs: Creator: Jamie Kelley Theme: Schizophrenia! Vehicle: 89 Chevorlet S-10 City/State: Asheville, North Carolina Engine: Chromed out 350 small block complete with dual electric fans and oversized radiator. Transmission: Automatic with chrome knuckle spike shifter. Interior: Materials (tweed, crushed velvet and aluminum diamond plate) / Colors (red, blue, black and silver). A ragtop covers the cab and extends down its back. Doors: Custom built side mount gullwings, shaved handles with remote door poppers Hydraulic Setup: Completely independent suspension and seven stage spinning /splitting bed! The spin itself was created from a 5th wheel (very stable) and has a pneumatically controlled stop (to line up with the cab). Main parts list: ten modified Hi-LOW pumps (marzochi heads), 2 Superwinch motors, Delta dumps, 13 cylinders (various sizes), eight Super-Crank group 31 batteries. 22 solenoids, 23 switches & a ground disconnect. Tires: 225/50 R-15 BF Goodrich whitewalls. Rims: 15 Roadster wires with gold fluted pans and gold claw spinner. Paint: Base color (Alsa chrome), entire truck was given a marble effect (Royal Blue for the driver side & Candy Apple Red for the passenger side) Graphics: Red and blue glitter flake, 2 Face on hood, a graphic crack down the center, various designs down the sides + a spiral on the bed split. Stereo: Eclipse cd player, Rockford Fosgate mids and tweets, Sound Dynamic 15s & a Hi-Fonics Genesis amp Pyrotechnics: A custom built remote control flamethrower (capable of shooting a column of fire 12-15 ft), theatrical gerbs (shoots a jet of sparks from each corner of the bed), a concussion bomb (extremely loud effect simulates explosion) & smoke bombs (to build crowd anticipation). Additional stuff: 3 wheel reaches up to 18" (uses winch motor to suck tire up into fenderwell), Superbright led strips in bed split (looks like ferris wheel spinning in dark), large titanium plates at back of frame (leaves brilliant spark trails). Advertisement banner mounting system for area where bed splits. An alternate plan for my creation is removing the majority of it's bed lift (along with pumps. cylinders, batteries, etc). This would be sold as a separate package deal for $7,500 (delivered to your location in sections, first 200 miles free) and include the following: 1. The 5 stage lift (massively reinforced) 2. Attached 5th wheel spin (large ball bearing race for max stability) 3. 9 hydraulic cylinders (with heavy duty hime joints) 4. 6 hydraulic pumps (marzochi #7 gear heads for torque) 5. A hydraulic PTO motor for the spin 6. Pneumatic stop system for spin (bed lines up with cab at flip of switch) 7. All necessary hydraulic valves (dumps, checks, needle) 8. 4 Supercrank group 31 batteries 9. All necessary hoses 10. 6 SPST switches 11. 12 heavy duty solenoids Here is a another article about my creation you may be interested to read: Introducing Schizophrenia, an extreme attention getter that has generated excitement at shows all over the East Coast! At first sight, the multi-color paint job and theme are enough to command interest. Within seconds, an incredible seven-stage dancing bed extends 12 feet while spinning before your very eyes! Nearly hypnotized by its dramatic oscillation, you watch as the bed cover splits into 4 sections to reveal a flamethrower that projects 15 foot columns of fire! Add to this scene: balloons, theatrical sparks, a concussion grenade plus colored smoke bombs and you start to picture what an amazing show this real life transformer can give an audience. Over the past 20 years, creative evolution has turned this Chevy S-10 into a mechanical monster on wheels! My creation is not limited to a particular genre and has been featured in the following environments: car show, parade, monster truck event, air show and art exhibit. It has great niche marketing potential. Using my specially designed brackets, banner advertisements can be placed on top of the bed itself and used to draw customers to a featured business. People remember things that are different...especially when combined with action! This fact would serve a sponsoring company through product awareness while creating revenue for its owner. Also, the truck is a great learning experience. It details engineering principals relating to mechanics, electricity, fluid power, chemicals and gas theory. A parent looking to set their younger child on such a path would benefit from involvement. All learning is reinforced by extreme popularity at shows. The reason for selling: simply put, I have reached a time in my life where I'm looking for new projects/investments. Jamie Kelley Event & product promotion
