| I have a 1953 Ford F-100 Rat Rod. First this trucks has a tremendous amount of money put into it. This is not a typical rat rod but only made to look like a rat rod. Its a tail dragger lead sled 400+ hp truck. You will never go anywhere that someone is not saying "badass truck dude". It beats the ground and looks awesome. Total driver though. To start it has a .60 over 350 sbc with forged bottom end, fully ported and polished heads, edelbrock intake, polished longtube headers, 3in stainless exhaust with flowmasters, and a com cam. Motor built by Dr Polock at Race Engine Design out of Chattanooga Tn estimated over 400hp. Sounds freakin awesome and draws a crowd just on sound alone. Trans is a built 350 turbo with 3000 stall and B&M ratchet shifter. No leaks smoke or slips at all. Motor and trans as less than 1000k miles. Rear is a 10bolt with 373 gear. Body is a very solid 53 shell with suicide door, suicide hood, frenched antenna, 3in chopped top lime green F-100. Interior is leather bucket seats with a hand rolled metal center console and overhead console with working dome lights. Has power windows, power seats, power cowl vent, power antenna, UUGA horn, hot heat, Sony CD player with 4 51/4 sony speakers, 2 10in Kicker subs, and a 1000 watt Kicker amp. System thumps as hard as motor! Has all Autometer Gauges and all work. Speedo, tach, gas, temp, oil, and charge. Has a really cool old barn wood bed also. Has mustang 2 front end with power steering. Has front power disc brakes. Has 15in steelie wheels with chrome caps and rings and white walls. Truck stops as well as it drives. You really cant find a cooler truck to cruise anywhere! All lights work like they should. Lowered by cutting 1 coil out of front springs and 3in lowering blocks in rear with coil over shocks. Gas tank needs to be cleaned and resealed. I have a fuel cell in bed for temp use. Gas gauge only works for tank fyi. Truck needs nothing at all other than to be cruised like it was built for after gas tank is fixed. Have a local quote of $75 to fix the tank.
