This car has the stock drive train, with the insanely reliable 216 stovebolt engine and a 3 speed manual transmission. Car is a driver… (the I6 sips gas at something like 22mpg). glass pack muffler. fiddled with it a bit, painting some of the trim, getting her pinstriped, & re-upholstering the door panels. new U joint and transmission this spring. I also added an electronic ignition system and coil.

No power anything! The Styleline Deluxe was the base of the Basic models Chevy offered that year. The Car registers very low milage 11,000+ miles. The story is that this car was purchased new for a lady that lived “On the Mountain” and that when her husband brought it home she didn’t like it and told him to drive it. Well, this guy preferred his truck, so he parked the car out back and let it sit.
Engine purrs like a kitten….Very, very, very low miles for a car this age.
Body is in pretty good shape with only a few small areas that need patching
(patch panels included)
New Tranny, well new to the car, put in this spring.
