I have up for sale a 1986 chevy s-10. It is a short wheel base single cab. It has the 2.8 v6 with the manual 4 speed transmission. I believe I am the 3rd owner of this truck. The mileage says around 250,000 miles,but the previous 2 owners both have said that the engine was rebuilt when it had around 100,000 miles on it. So the engine probably has around 150,000 or so miles on it. I know it don't have too many miles because of how good it runs. The engine runs and idles good and the transmission shifts smoothe. The body is in great shape. There is no body work. There is some minor surface rust here and there (small spots). There is no pitting in the rust! The bed and cab floor are super solid with no rust.
OK NOW TIME FOR THE STORY.................
I purchased this truck all stock in march of this year (2006). The entire reason for me purchasing this truck was to fix up and make a show quality mini truck. But things changed for the worse. I done several custom things to the truck. Then I got alot more hours at work and I also Moved to an apartment complex. So work mixed with me moving I haven't had time or the funds to complete it. I purchased all kinds of custom parts for this truck. I have alot of money already invested! We will get to that shortly.....Another thing that I really don't like about the truck is that it is a manual transmission. I hate stick shifts. I bought the truck from an elderly guy who bought it just to drive to work and back. He always kept it garaged. The truck is awesome!!!!
Ok here is some things exciting!!!!!!

Brand new 255/35/20 kumho ecsta tires
Brand new lugnuts and locks with key
The tires and rims have less than 10 miles on them!!!!
It has been lowered 3" in front using coils and 4" in rear using blocks.
It has brand new gabriel shocks in rear
It has brand new toxic drop shocks up front
It has a brand new optima red top battery under the hood
It has brand new IPCW sport mirrors
It has a new Ignition coil
It has a complete fresh tune-up that consists of----- cap,rotor,plugs,wires,oil change and filter,air filter,fuel filters,flush radiator with new coolant,drain rear axel and filled with fresh fluid. I believe that was all?
I installed a pioneer cd player
It has brand new brake pads and rotors
Everything has been greased.I am also throwing in brand new upper and lower balljoints for both sides. I bought these to put on but it is not necessary. I thought it couldn't hurt. You can change them or save them! I am throwing them in anyways!!!
