Listing Description Back to top
This is a 1 owner truck bought brand new off the showroom floor from Buckalew Chevrolet in Conroe,TX in 1990...this truck has never been owned by anyone else or driven by anyone else...it is garaged kept and is completely flawless,no dings,no scratches...just prestine and clean...This truck has never been wrecked or damaged in any way...The truck retains most of it's stock appearance as far as what the truck looked like and factory badges...it is Summit white with white diamond pearl and the truck was painted piece by piece and totally disassembled in order to paint...that means every part is painted inside and out...the fenderwells are painted as well and also sparayed with pearl...it is basecoat/clearcoat 5 coats of each and the white diamond pearl was mixed with the clear...the paint job on this truck is a $10,000 paint job easily...it has been wet sanded and polished as well...the paint has to be seen to truly be appreciated...every door jam and crack has all been painted the same...the right way!

There are two airbrushed graphics on the truck...a bengal tiger on the hood bursting thru the hood and ripping his right front paw thru the hood as well...and on the back tonneau cover is my man "Texas Terry Labonte" done as a mural exactly like a photo taken of him in victory lane at Texas Motor Speedway Samsung 500 race at TMS in 1999...above that is Kelloggs Racing logo and below the mural are the Winston Cup original logos commerating his two Championships...this is all airbrushed onto the truck and clearcoated over...there are no lines to contend with...the airbrushing was done by Jay Leopard of Stonewall,LA.

The truck has a 4"/6" slam and 3" drop spindles and C-notch with belltech shocks, new coil springs, new Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings, new ball joints...the truck has been completely shaved and smoothed with all factory molding removed, sports new painted mirrors, tinted glass, shaved door handles, shaved tailgate, steel cowl hood, billet painted factory grille, billet custom teardrop painted front bumper, factory air dam with factory fog lights all brand new,new headlights and running lights with Lexus blue bulbs...even the wiper blades are painted and shot with pearl as well as wiper cowling...the inside sports some modifications as well...I have a 5" Auto Meter Pro Comp silver Monster tach w/shift light custom mounted on the dash to monitor the Rat...also have a custom overhead console from a later model chevy done to match this interior with overhead reading lights and custom mounted 2 gauge pod for Auto Meter engine oil temperature gauge and Auto Meter transmission oil temperature guage...also have a two pod gauge cluster mounted on the driver side A-Pillar custom painted to match interior color and it contains Auto Meter cylinder head temperauture guage & Auto Meter vacuum boost gauge...truck has PS,PD,PW,tilt, cruise control, factory stereo with cassette deck and factory equalizer and everything still functions...the inside contains a polished aluminum billet dress up kit for dash, door handles, vents, kickplates, door sills, foot pedals...the steering wheel is a all aluminum polished billet steering wheel from Colorado Customs...the seating is factory plush burgundy velour in 60/40 split bench seat...this truck is solid and airtight...everything you can imagine is new or in like new condition...!

Now comes the goodies...underneath the hood is a brand new Scoggin-Dickey GMPP ZZ 502/502 complete turnkey motor...the only modification to this motor that I made from the crate was to port and polish those massive aluminum heads some more and port matched them to a ported & polished Edelbrock RPM Air Gap aluminum dual plane manifold to replace the GMPP manifold...I also added a 2" aluminum spacer as well, fire is from a Accel distributor,Hedman ceramic coated headers with copper gaskets and stainless steel header bolts with locks, custom bowtie wire looms, brand new Optima red top battery, new massive 4 core all aluminum Jeg's radiator...this setup still maintains A/C functioning and serpentine pulley system,a dual line Holley 870 double pumper feeds this hungry Rat,hoses are Russell stainless with anodized fittings,no fake pullover stuff here...this motor has less than 5000 miles and is very clean and has plenty of thump, has a roller setup and sounds just as mean!

As for the engine...The king of the crate engines the ZZ502/502! The Killer RaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaT!

The transmission is a 700 R4 with overdrive 4 speed automatic with a B&M 3500 stall 10" converter with lock up...the rear end is the 3.73 limited slip semi-posi 10 bolt...This truck is very clean and performs way better than it looks which is what it was intended to do...it still turns plenty of heads on just sheer cleanliness and simplicity...I built this truck over a 10 year period and I'm nearly 50 now...I've enjoyed it a ton and would love to see somebody get this truck and continue raising the bar...the truck drives great, sounds great,SCREAMMMS and crusies good on the highway while knocking down around 13 MPG with the A/C running...I'm a very, very meticulous man and I've done the best I could with this truck to suit my preferences, here's hoping somebody else can now enjoy it as well...If I have left out anything at all feel free to call me...I'll be glad to take anyone who visits a ride...I'll even lay the hammer down if I need too,but please don't ask to drive this baby to you hand over the jack! I have over $40,000 invested into this truck easily... SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY,PLEASE!
