| Up for sale is a nice 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS DOHC Turbo From the Illinois State Police Heritage Museum. This Car was given to Governor James R. Thompson as a gift from Diamond Star Motor Corporation by Chrysler Chairmen Lee A. Lacocca and Mitsubishi Motors President Toyoo Tate. The Donation could not be accepted by the Governor directly so he donated it to the IL State Police. This car was used in Training exercises and later showed in the Heritage Museum until March of 2013. This 200 horse power sports coupe has a 2.0 Liter turbo DOHC twin cam 4 cylinder with 5 speed! It has only 26640 miles on it and is in excellent shape!! Equipped with power windows, disc brakes, cruise tilt, a/c, am / fm cassette and cd, this car comes complete with a nice piece of history right of the assembly line of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, and the State of Illinois.
