what all would it take to put the 1g motor into the 2g chassis? is it a direct bolt in or what? im thinkin about orderin a brand new 2g motor for my car,,,,good idea or no? |

Yea its pretty much a direct bolt-in, other than changing a few sensor connectors,etc. Its actually a very popular hard core modification. I just finished doing it to my car. A 1G is a 6bolt (block) motor and a 2G is a 7bolt. The difference is the 1G IS STRONGER, BETTER, and maybe a little less power stock but loads more potential. AND NO crank-walk issues that the 2G has. A far better Idea to go with the 1G especially since your already swapping the engine. |
