1978 SWB ONE-TON Chevy van. 350/turbo 400. Dual battery setup (needs new ones). New Process 205 transfer case. Dana 44 front diff, GM Corporate 14 Bolt rear. Eight lug slotted mags. Aftermarket WARN hubs. Converted by PATHFINDER http://www.pathfinder-vans.com/4x4_Van_I_D_/K-van_I_D_/k-van_i_d_.html
Runs, stops, turns. 4x4 is not working, front Dana engages, but drags like a mofo. She needs major TLC. The things I know of are as such. Body damage in; pass wheelwell, pass front fender, rear driver quarter, side door bottom lip and general dings and bits of rust everywhere else. Mechanical damage; pass front spring perch needs relocation, rear axle jacked out of alignment. Needs leaf springs and shocks (bearings and such also) although I did commute in this thing 20 miles each way for about a month this past fall. All I needed to keep going was a couple hand tools and a battery charger. I would not suggest a long-distance drive without a chase vehicle, for sure. Basic electrics (signals, lights) work fine. cashier's check is acceptable if we go to my bank and cash it before you come to my house to see the van. you can hold the cash until title is signed, but that's the deal. This is the FOURTH TIME THIS WEEK I have received this nearly exact email, and I'm getting suspicious that it's a scam. Two of them came from UK users, so I think mautofied.com has to do a little housecleaning. Also, the use of the "expect your response asap" is a little fucking rude. Better learn some manners, scammers.... |
