| I took this car on trade for a 96 LT1 Vette with 60k on it. It was originally a 307 automatic Malibu, it is now sporting a 454 big block, muncie 4spd, and 12 bolt rear. Even though it is a clone car, the conversion has been don pretty well. The only thing Ive done to the car was put a new starter in it, fixed the blower so the car has heat, got the wipers working, and put a couple miles on it a day. Everything on the car is fairly new, the motor is just broken in after rebuild, the trans was done at the same time as well as a new clutch. Its got a 12 bolt posi rear, 3.55 richmond gears and it is an aftermarket Eaton unit. It does have power disc front brakes, stock setup. The front clip is new steel, rear quarters are new, floor boards are solid, there is one small spot on the seam on the driver side where the floor board meets the firewall, no bigger than a quarter and is not a hole but just a rough patch. Trunk pan is solid with the popular speckle paint look. Interior is in pretty good shape, there is a tear in the headliner, which you can see if the sun visor is up. The metal part of the dash, guages, and knobs are original. The paint is new, I have only noticed two imperfections which I would have to show you in person (barely noticable but I am picky). The car is not a frame off resto job your going to take to Barret-Jackson, but it is something that you can get in every day and go beat on, its a daily driver. |
