| Lowered on Eibach performance springs. As you see in the pictures, not too low. Just a little adjustment to handle and ride better. Still rides smooth but handles much better. No leaks. All power equipment works, Power windows, locks, seats, Clean leather interior. Strong engine and transmission. Has 163k miles and counting as it still is daily driven. Oil has always been changed with high quality synthetic (Mobile 1, Liqu-Moly 10w 40) as suggested by Mercedes. Adult driven. I've put over 30k miles on it since I bought it. Driven less that 10k miles/year on average The following items were replaced during Spring and Summer of 2016:
Both rear wheel bearings
Both rear outer control arms/bushings
Both front ball joints
Both front complete tied rods (inner and outer)
Both front control arms
Water pump CEL just came on but I believe it is a small vacuum hose that needs replacing. Car is not perfect (17 years old) but is daily driven. Time for me to move on from it. |
