| 12/30/12 - Sale pending with deposit taken. Will update thread if buyer does not buy. 1998 Toyota Supra, Single Turbo, over $60k spent on build! This is car is AMAZING in everyway!! Let me start by saying that this is the most well built car that I have had the pleasure of owning. I absolutely HATE to sell it but my wife has recently gone back to school full time and I need to for financial reasons. From the paint color to the interior to the drivetrain, you will not see another as nice as this. The previous owner spared no expense building this machine to the tune of over $60k not including the price of the car! All of the work was done through Titan Motorsports. Those of you in the Supra community know of their reputation. This car was built to be 100% daily drivable if someone wanted it to be. It has about 15k miles on it since completion. I have personally driven this car over 500 miles in one day and it didn't skip a beat. The car starts right up with no smoke and does not leak fluids of any kind. Below is the write up on the car that was written by Wesley at Titan as he facilitated the sale for the seller: This one of a kind Supra was built by Titan Motorsports in Orlando, FL to the owners exact specifications. Starting with a clean titled black 1998 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo with just over 100k miles the car was stripped to a shell and rebuilt form the ground up. The shell was sent to world renowned Supra body specialist Samuels Autobody for a complete overhaul. Countless hours were spent ensuring the body was straight, with unnecessary items such as the marker lights and antennae getting shaved to give the car a more crisp look. With body work complete the car received a fresh coat of Ferrari Grigio Silverstone gunmetal gray paint before being meticulously reassembled with brand new Toyota hardware, seals, and trim. The engine bay and door jams received the same care as the exterior and were also treated to a fresh coat of Grigio Silverstone. Brand new headlights, tail lights and turn signals were installed along with an upgraded HID lighting system. With the bodywork complete, the front bumper and hood were coated with a 3M Clear bra to prevent any rocks from chipping the beautiful fresh paint. While the engine was out it received a fresh OEM Toyota short block, a refreshed head and Titan Motorsports 264 camshafts with Titan Motorsports adjustable cam gears. The factory twin turbos were replaced with a Single Turbonetics T66 turbocharger on a black coated cast log style manifold for quick spool up. Fuel is provided by a Titan Twin Pump Fuel System with 850cc Injectors allowing the car to make well over 500whp on 93 octane with plenty of head room for a larger turbocharger in the future. Engine management is provided by a Titan Motorsports plug and play Haltech Platinum 2000 ECU modified to accept the factory transmission computer, with a custom tune provided by Darin Dichiara. The engine bay shines thanks to a host polished aluminum and chrome parts. The upgraded front mount intercooler features chrome piping and helps feed a high polished throttle body and intake manifold. The intake pipe, upper radiator neck, radiator hard pipe, and power steering reservoir have also been given the chrome treatment. A carbon fiber vented spark plug cover and fuse box cover round out the engine bays aesthetics. The Extra power provided by the single turbo system is routed through a Boost Logic upgraded automatic transmission and Titan Motorsports torque converter. The interior was also treated to a complete refresh. The factory seats were wrapped in OEM grade BMW Imola Red Leather, and custom door panels were made that feature the same Imola Red Leather. The headliner was wrapped in black alcantara suede, and the plastic trim panels were replaced. The factory mid and high speakers were replaced with Kicker units, and the rear hatch received a custom fiberglass enclosure featuring 2 kicker subwoofers and a kicker amplifier. The suspension consists of Tein Flex Coilovers with Titan Motorsports adjustable sway bars and Powerslot upgraded brake rotors front and rear. Cusco carbon fiber strut tower bars front and rear help aid in reducing chassis flex. The car rolls on matte black 19" Forgestar F14 wheels wrapped in Hankook Ventus tires in 235/35/19ZR front and 305/30ZR19 rear sizing. In 1998 they only made 500 Twin Turbo Supras for U.S. production. Of those 500, only 84 were black automatics which makes this car pretty rare. It's hard to find a bone stock 1998 Twin Turbo Supra model for under $30k. As a matter of fact, this car bone stock still has an NADA retail value of over $29,000. As you can see by reading and looking at the pictures there really is nothing left to replace on this machine. The AC blows cold and the stereo system sounds unbelievable. The only interior blemishes that I can think to mention are a little spot on the glove box door and on the shift knob as they are both original. The drivers door is not locking and I believe it to need a new actuator. A couple of the dash cluster lights started flickering under throttle. I have not had tiime to investigate but have reduced the price so that the new owner can. There are a couple minor nic's on the car but they are hardly noticeable and do not take away from the stellar look of this car. The paint is ridiculous in it's shine, color and finish. It looks like a factory paint job! Overall this car is a 9.9 out of 10 in my book and is sure to make the new owner very happy. I also have the car appraised and insured at $45,000. The new owner will get a copy of the appraisal. I do have some of the receipts from the previous owner that I will gladly forward. I have plenty of high resolution photos so if you want any specific then just ask. I also have a cd with a ton of the build pictures. Here are a couple of videos that I shot. The first is a walk around video to point out the minor cosmetic blemishes. Please keep in mind that the car was filthy the day that I shot this because I had just returned from a 120 mile drive up the mountains to Lake Lure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7wNbxt0s8g The second video is one if the car going down the road with me driving it. I wanted to show the turbo spooling a little. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvS4J...hannel&list=UL Serious inquiries only and no test drives unless cash in hand. Thanks for looking!
