Well the time has sadly come to sell my beloved Ranger. I have had it for 12 years since I was 16 years old. A lot of fun and memories were made with this truck. I hope to sell it to someone as passionate about cars as I am. Anyway, I bought a new truck and this one has to go - no room in the driveway or need for two trucks. This Ranger has won Truck of the Month on rangerpowersports.com and has won a few trophies at car shows. It is modified quite a bit. . . 1998 Ford Ranger XLT "super" extended cab, 2WD 2.5L I4 engine -- gets amazing gas mileage, averages 24+ mpg 185,000 miles 5 speed manual with Hurst shifter Lowered 4"/5" with DJM suspension kit Cobra style fiberglass hood Adjustable air shocks in the rear K&N cold air intake Throttle body spacer Custom built sound system -- 2 12" kicker subs, Kenwood DVD/Navigation screen, amp rack 18" Cobra R mustang wheels, may or may not include depending on price Custom white face, flame gauges Undercover hard tonneau cover Shaved tailgate Window tint Comes with so many extra parts, you could probably build another ½ a Ranger! Comes with stock tailgate, custom front bumper lip with fog lights, rollpan, stock hood, stock wheels with snow tires in good shape, headlights, taillights, turn signals, stock suspension, I'm sure more will surface when I clean out the garage. The truck has honestly seen better days but is still super reliable. It has never left me stranded ever. I recently did a tune up -- changed thermostat, fuel filter, temp sensors, cleaned and re-oiled K&N filter. It is inspected until 02/2015. Things that need some TLC -- needs new rear brakes pads, roof has some dents from hail or falling nuts, turn signal needs held in place to keep signal on, just little things that happen to a 16 year old vehicle. There really isn't much rust at all on it. I painted the frame before last winter and rust proofed the underside. I think with some love, it could be back at shows winning trophies and turning heads. Just email me ryguy6400@yahoo.com if interested or for more pictures, I check my email all the time and will respond. Truck is located just north of Pittsburgh, PA. I know I will never get the money back I put into this, asking $3,500 for everything or $3,000 without the 18" cobra wheels. |
