| I have a 92 Ford Festiva L 5 speed for sale. I bought it for a work beater to save gas. Drove it for a month and it died on me pulling into my driveway. When I went to start it back up I noticed the fuel pump wasn't kicking on so I spent $140 on a new fuel pump and strainer. I put it in and still wouldn't start it just cranked over. I checked and it wasn't getting spark to the spark plugs so I spent another $100 on a new ignition coil. I put it in and it still just cranks over and still isn't getting spark to the spark plugs. I also put new sway bar bushings on the car and all 4 new tires with less than 1000 miles on them. The engine ran great and strong when it was running and the clutch feels great. I was getting over 40 mpg. I have a 74 mile round trip for work 5 days a week and was getting 8 days out of a tank of gas. I'll let it go for $500 the way it site but if I get it figured out and driving before it sells then I'll either keep it or the price will go up. |
