|1990 Chevy Blazer w/ 2WD conversion
YES...THIS REALLY IS A 1990 Blazer.....I am fully aware that they only made 2wd Blazers until 1982...this has been converted from 4WD to 2WD using a 2WD frame/crossmember.
Engine: 383 sbc with Dart Iron Heads, Weiand Team G hi-rise, Edelbrock Thunder AVS carb (brand new), 1.6 Roller Rockers, MSD Pro Billet Distibutor with MSD 6A ignition box, Holley fuel regulator and braided lines (brand new), headers, H-pipe and flowmaster 40's dumped before the axle....motor was built before I bought it, so I do not know what the bottom end consists of, runs strong. Also has Alan Groves brackets with BRAND NEW A/C that blows very cold. VERY Clean under the hood.
Trans: TH350 with shift kit and B&M Megashifter
Body: Straight body with primer, does need driver side inner rocker panel and a small patch done on the drivers side rear floor pan, other than that it's perfect and rust free. Brand new grill, bumpers, mirrors and rear tailgate "panel".
Interior: Interior is nearly spotless. Vinyl Floor, nice seats, new GM NOS dash (not a cover, a brand new factory dash pad), billet dash and door panel inserts, Autometer 5" Speedo and Memory Recall Tach, 2 5/8" Oil, Volt, Water and Fuel. Kenwood Excelon CD/MP3/iPod with 3 1/2" Coax in the dash, 6.5" MB Quart in the rear panel and a "snail shell" box with two 6.5" Audiobahns with a RF 300 amp. PW, PL, A/C all in working order. VERY CLEAN.
Suspension: 4/6 BellTech with coils/spindles in the front and a flip kit in the rear with a frame notch....never bottoms out.
Wheels/Tires: 22x10 Boyd Dictators with 285/35/22 on rear and 265/30/22 on front. Brand new with less than 1500 miles on them.
Misc: Rear brakes are completely new as of 03/12. Replaced drums, wheel cylinders, pads and all springs.
Problems: Drivers side inner rocker need to be replaced/patched, primer needs to be sanded and redone and/or painted, trans just started having a 2-3 shift issue, pretty sure it's vaccum related as it's shifts fine manually. Trans has small leak from rear seal. Passeger window either needs new motor or the tracks need grease, it works and rolls up and down...just SLOW.
