Up for trade is my very custom 70 Lincoln Continental Mark III 2 door hardtop. We have been using this car as a daily driver putting anywhere between 250-300 miles on it per week since March. Custom work: All custom work done by Moore's Hot Rods in Dallas GA. Rear quarters have been extensively re-worked using front fenders for the wheel well openings. All trim and badges have been shaved with the holes welded. Fender pinch welds have been ground flat and welded smooth. Mirrors shaved and mounting holes welded. Door handles, gas filler door, trunk latch and lock shaved and patches welded in. Doors are on key fob activated poppers. Trunk is on a hidden popper in the wheel well and gas filler tube relocated to the trunk. Bumper guards have been removed and holes welded. Custom grille. Hide away headlight doors have been removed and custom covers installed. Vinyl top has been removed and all mounting studs have been ground flat and holes welded. Rear deck grate has been chromed. 15 inch Wheel Vintiques wheels with BFG Radial T/As, big in the rear smalls up front. I think that is about it as far as the custom work goes, there is no other Lincoln out there that looks as good as this one! Car has the original Lincoln 460, C6 trans and rear end. Recent brake pad, rotor turning, drivers side control arm bushing replacement along with alignment. New Edelbrock carb (proper 600 cfm), new electronic ignition and oil change. Newish tie rod ends, exhaust system and wheel bearings. Interior is original to the car and in excellent condition. Brown leather 6 way power seats that all work. Next to perfect headliner and brown shag carpet. Real Walnut wood inserts on the door panels and dash. All original gauges work and factory Cartier clock work (clock runs slow). It is missing the original radio but I have an under dash AM/FM/8 track with the Shaft soundtrack that I will include. Paint is good, about a 10 footer. There are some paint chips around the doors but they are not down to bare metal. Paint would be a 3 footer if it had a cut and buff job. One quarter sized rust bubble spot on the rear deck. I am looking to do a straight trade or trade down + cash for a 30's-70's running, driving and stopping car. Sorry no motorcycles (cant ride due to injury). |
