1967 impala fastback , rust free , super solid , frame off , fully restored . we will start with the body, super solid , nothing cut out and replaced, all metal on this car is 100 percent original and came on this car from the factory. over 100 hours in blocking alone to make sure that this car was as straight as it could be. floor pans are still original , never replaced or patched. the car came off the frame and went to media blast, from there is was primed, blocked, very little body work, reprimed, blocked again, the blocked again. the paint on the car is a custom ppg color . frame was also blasted and painted with ppg concept so it shines like the exterior as well as the floor pans. firewall was shaved , and vnts on the dash was shaved, it still retains the factory air conditioning vents and dash . the plan was to go with a hot rod air kit but never really needed it .most of the suspension was chrome plated, and the rest was painted with ppg. A list of items that are chrome. Upper and lower control arms front and rear. All of the steering links, sway bar, panhard bar . all new bushings where installed once chrome was done. rebuilt rear end, new gears , bearings, seals ect. this car is also has 4 wheel disc brakes installed, new stainless brake lines, new master cylinder and booster . new stainless fuel lines and a new old stock gast tank that was painted with a ppg base clear silver. all of the trim is either restored or replated including the front and rear bumper. grill was restored , headlight doors, and eyebrows where restored . This car also came equipt with factory power tinted windows which all look really nice and all works as well as it should . all new seals such as the door , trunk, window seals as well as window fuzzys, new hood seal . trans is still the original power glide that has been completely rebuilt and a lokar shifter installed. motor is a mild 350 with all of the chrome goodies ,march billet pulley system , aluminum radiator, electric fans, shorty headers with a complete aluminized exhaust . interior is all new including carpet, headliner, seat covers and padding, new dash pad, chromed steering column, custom chrome steering wheel . custom gauges , under the dash cd player with all new component speakers and a N.O.S bazooka tube mounted in the trunk. nos trunk trim, eyebrow mouldings. all new emblems , taillight bezels , hood lip moulding also new. Air ride on the front and rear with viar compressors, 8 gallon tank., firestone bags. 18x8 inch coy wheels in the front and 20x10 coys in the back all wrapped in nitto nt555 tires. The wiring harness is a new painless harness with the updated fuse box and cleaner connectors.
