This is a 1966 mustang coupe. from the factory it was a 6 cylinder auto now it is a LS1 (5.7L) powered mustang with a T56 manual 6 speed transmission. fuel injected and VERY street-able i daily drive this car and it gets 27+ on the hwy on 89 octane. the other upgrades are starting from the front:
new aluminum single core radiator with electric fan, front suspension has strut tower delete with heidt mustang two front suspension with power steering, disk brakes, adjustable coil-overs and a 5 lug conversion. the rear has a triangular 4 link conversion with disk brakes, coil-overs, 5-lug conversion, 9-inch ford rear end with 3.90 gears and 31 spline axles. car has custom headers with 2 1/2 inch pipes and 2 magnaflow mufflers, x pipe, no cats. has been tuned recently (numbers listed) interior is mostly stock but in good shape. has two Rockford Fosgate 6x9 speakers in the back window and a dash mounted JVC standard head unit with CD/MP3 and radio. the gauges are Velocity gauges from classic gauges. battery relocated to truck.
all windows and locks work nothing on the car doesn't.
The paint is nice but could benefit from a new paint job was originally springtime yellow.
also will need a rear window weatherstrip replaced soon. also has now headliner but i haven't found the need for one once i cleaned it up and painted the inside black.
overall a great car. the swap was done all at once at a shop in Huntsville Alabama. runs and drives great no mechanical issues. if the car needs anything its just some polishing up and finishing some small work here and there i.e the headliner and some interior mods to modern it up if desired. the only body issue is a small crack on the drivers side rear fender where the tire grabbed a spot that was bondoed a while back. the suspension hadn't been fully adjusted at the time for the tire and wheel size we used. (i have pics of the crack) if you have any other questions about the car let me know. I love this car and don't really have to sell it but I'm looking for a suv or a truck. if you have a trade I'm looking to toss keys or take cash plus trade depending on what you have. Will consider serious cash offers. no low balling please. As i said this car is VERY reliable and has been on several long road trips. would take it anywhere and it is QUICK weighing only 2600lbs. give me a call or text me. thank you again!! |
