| 1936 Harley Davidson VD. RARE!!! This bike is one of only 3 known remaining to exist. There were 12 of these bikes built in 1936 at the Harley factory. They were built with left over unmatching parts from the 1934-1936 production bikes. So where to start. It has a 34 frame, 35 tanks with hand pump, and a 36 VD code motor. This bike was found in a barn in 1955 in its original condition. But since then has been restored professionally. This gentlemen has restored 100+ bikes in his lifetime and this is his prized possession and last one left. It is 90% complete. The motor is free and has not been touched since 1955. It needs a wiring harness, and a battery box to complete the restoration. It right now is in absolutely beautiful non running condition. 8 years ago the restorer was offered $50k from a represenitive for Jay leno.
